The key role of natural gas in China’s historically transition period towards low carbon era

Abstract:Before 2030, while renewable energy occupied 1/3 of total energy consumed, rapidly and thoroughly apply the natural gas CCHP and L/CNGV may doubled the energy efficiency of the industry and building sector, reduce 70% carbon emission of them; decrease hundreds million tons of imported petroleum, and guarantee the energy/power supply, basically solve the grid peak shower problem; as well as saving trillion Yuan RMB of investment and hundreds million tons of energy. It is the most important energy strategy in the transition historical period towards low carbon era. Reject ordinal idea, change concept is the key for China to seize opportunity, apply new technology and realize leaping development.
